1st April, 2018 - The long standing champions of the Hong Kong Sevens and recent title champions of the Pacific Challenge, Fiji Rugby Team participated in a training session with 100 young and aspiring mini rugby kids from Tin Shui Wai (TSW). The training took place on Sunday 1st April 2018 at the HKRU TSW Rugby Pitch one week ahead of the 2018 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens Tournament. Sponsored by Fiji Airways, the Fiji rugby sevens team, have one of the best success rates in Hong Kong at HK Sevens. AIRBUS A350 XWB Arrived In Hong Kong For The First Time Ever

28th July, 2014 - The world’s newest, most modern and efficient aircraft, the Airbus A350 XWB, landed for the very first time at Hong Kong International Airport . The aircraft, MSN 005, is one of five A350 prototypes used to perform comprehensive flight test and development trials. This route proving exercise is the last of the trials required for Type Certification.

1st February, 2018 - Hong Kong is the global hub for the more than USD 1 billion Live Reef Food Fish Trade (LRFFT), much of it unreported and unregulated with serious consequences for vulnerable species, food security and livelihoods in Southeast Asia, according to a report released today. Published jointly by the Swire Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), ADM Capital Foundation and the WWF Coral Triangle Program, the report, Going, Going Gone: The Trade in Live Reef Food Fish, says popular wild-caught reef fish species could be gone from diners’ tables within our lifetime if we do not act now to stem this burgeoning and often illegal trade. Savills’ Annual Hong Kong Corporate Sevens Returns for the Fifth Year

10th December, 2017 - November and December were busy months and before wrapping up 2017, Communiqué saw through a number of large scale events – Hong Kong St Andrew’s Ball, Wrath Laying ceremonies commemorating and celebrating St Andrews Day, Highland Spring brand partnership at Best of British Hong Kong and of course the annual Hong Kong Corporate 7s raising funds for the PLK Tackling Life Programme!

The programme seeks to introduce Po Leung Kuk students to rugby and use sports as a medium to encourage a healthy and positive lifestyle; sessions focus on building confidence and self-esteem alongside developing team work and interpersonal skills. Almost 4,000 students from 21 PLK school across the territory are currently involved and our goal is to increase this number to 25 PLK schools by 2019. For more info click here.
